About Robert D. Brill
Robert D. Brill has worked with individuals, couples, and groups in private
practice at Old Louisville Counseling Center since 1993. He is one of five certified
analysts in Louisville, and a member of the National Association for the Advancement of
Psychoanalysts. His approach to psychotherapy is influenced primarily by Drs. Sigmund
Freud and Carl Jung.
In addition to his psychoanalytic practice, Brill served 35 years as a Chaplain in
the Army Reserve, retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 2014. He holds a Master’s degree in
Social Work (LCSW) and a Master’s Degree in Divinity. Brill’s special expertise is
helping people recover from addiction, and working with patients who’ve experienced
trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss.
